Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial
Doggu offers a 14-day free trial for all plans. No credit card is required to start the trial. You will not be charged unless you explicitly subscribe to a paid plan.
2. Subscription Cancellation
- You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
- You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the billing period
- After cancellation, your account reverts to the free/trial tier
- Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted
3. Refund Policy
We offer refunds under the following conditions:
- Within 7 days of first payment: Full refund, no questions asked. If you're not satisfied with Doggu within your first week as a paying customer, contact us and we'll refund the full amount.
- Service downtime: If Doggu experiences more than 24 hours of continuous downtime in a billing month (excluding scheduled maintenance), you are eligible for a pro-rata refund for the affected days.
- Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong plan amount), contact us and we'll correct it immediately with a full refund of the excess.
Refunds are NOT provided for:
- Partial month usage (you cancel mid-cycle)
- Downtime caused by third-party services (Meta, Google, Razorpay)
- Violation of Terms of Service leading to account suspension
- Change of mind after the 7-day window
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund:
- Email billing@doggu.space with your account email and reason for refund
- Include your Razorpay transaction ID (found in your Razorpay dashboard or payment confirmation email)
- We will review and respond within 2 business days
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay
- Bank processing times may add 3-5 additional business days
- You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed
6. Plan Changes
- Upgrades: Take effect immediately. You are charged the pro-rata difference for the remainder of the billing cycle.
- Downgrades: Take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refund for the current cycle.
