Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Free Trial

Doggu offers a 14-day free trial for all plans. No credit card is required to start the trial. You will not be charged unless you explicitly subscribe to a paid plan.

2. Subscription Cancellation

  • You can cancel your subscription at any time from the Billing page in your dashboard
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing cycle
  • You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the billing period
  • After cancellation, your account reverts to the free/trial tier
  • Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted

3. Refund Policy

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

  • Within 7 days of first payment: Full refund, no questions asked. If you're not satisfied with Doggu within your first week as a paying customer, contact us and we'll refund the full amount.
  • Service downtime: If Doggu experiences more than 24 hours of continuous downtime in a billing month (excluding scheduled maintenance), you are eligible for a pro-rata refund for the affected days.
  • Billing errors: If you were charged incorrectly (duplicate charge, wrong plan amount), contact us and we'll correct it immediately with a full refund of the excess.

Refunds are NOT provided for:

  • Partial month usage (you cancel mid-cycle)
  • Downtime caused by third-party services (Meta, Google, Razorpay)
  • Violation of Terms of Service leading to account suspension
  • Change of mind after the 7-day window

4. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email billing@doggu.space with your account email and reason for refund
  2. Include your Razorpay transaction ID (found in your Razorpay dashboard or payment confirmation email)
  3. We will review and respond within 2 business days

5. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method via Razorpay
  • Bank processing times may add 3-5 additional business days
  • You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is processed

6. Plan Changes

  • Upgrades: Take effect immediately. You are charged the pro-rata difference for the remainder of the billing cycle.
  • Downgrades: Take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. No refund for the current cycle.
